About
Ashton practices in the area of workers’ compensation defense, representing self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all stages of litigation before the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Before joining Lewis and Roberts, Ashton practiced for over three years as a real property attorney focusing on residential real estate transactions, contract drafting, and title curative measures.
Ashton graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2017 before graduating from Campbell University School of Law in 2020. Ashton was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in January of 2021.
In his free time, Ashton enjoys the Triangle food and drink scene with his fiancée and two dogs, Frisco and Salvo. When not visiting new restaurants or breweries, Ashton enjoys cooking at home. Ashton is also regularly active at his church, serving during Sunday worship or attending weekly Bible studies.
